I love learning about different foods and incorporating healthy, whole, and clean foods into my lifestyle. I believe food should be used to heal, celebrate, and enjoy!
I eat organic and local when possible, and I avoid dairy and gluten, processed sugars, and other processed foods as best I can. I do not follow any particular “diet” because I believe you need to have a balance (Yin and Yang) of the good and sometimes even the bad!
One of my biggest influences in cooking is my friend Joan. Many of the recipes you see here are inspired by her! She is constantly feeding me and giving me new recipes to try. She does this, even though she knows I will take the recipe and change things around. We are constantly trading information about different foods, and I am lucky to have her as a fellow foodie and friend!
