12/6/11 Weekend Update

Local Restaurant Review: The Turning Point Restaurant
This morning I had the most delish breakfast with my friend Julie at this local restaurant called The Turning Point. It’s the most adorable place, that serves delicious lattes, coffees, teas, etc…and is open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. [...]
Yesterday was my birthday, and here are some of the gifts I received from classmates!
The eggs are fresh eggs from my friends chickens!
The wooden blocks are for rolling tiny moxa, and the red stuff in the jar is called Shinko cream. My friend made this from scratch!
Shinko cream is used to prevent burns when doing tiny moxa. You can purchase it but it is so nice to have some, made with love.
I am so grateful for these gifts and my acupuncture classmates!
Happy Birthday to me!
