Hello! My name is Danielle, I was born in Ilsan Kyungki-do in South Korea and adopted at the age of 4 months old. I grew up at the Jersey Shore, and I love it here!
In October (2012) I enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Over the last year or two, I have met many individuals who graduated from this program, and felt called to enroll. One of the most appealing parts of this school is the idea that the whole person is important. Not just their diet, exercise, etc…but everything combined. Which falls right in line with what I’ve been learning in acupuncture and Chinese medicine school, for the last three years. You must look at the whole person, and see them as an individual, not something to put into neatly labeled boxes.
Wellness and fitness, along with clean and green eating are very important to me. My workouts include (but are not limited to) kettlebells, yoga, TRX, running, Tabata, and other interval/circuit training, and the occasional dance party
I love photography and food. Especially taking pictures of foods!
The journey that I am on started almost two years ago when I began acupuncture school. But I guess if you really look at how I got here, two major events pushed me in this direction. First when I contracted lyme disease at the age of 7, and then again in July of 2008 after my mother passed away due to cancer. I truly believe that all of my experiences (good and bad) over the years have happened for a reason, and that I would not have grown as much as I have if circumstances had been different.
I am truly grateful for the things I have and for the things I do not have; I trust in the universe, and I do not believe we are given more than we can handle!
Feel free to comment or email me with any questions, comments, concerns, etc…!
Thank you for joining me on my path of physical, mental, and spiritual growth!
In light and health,
