I am almost done writing up my semester paper! I sat down this morning and decided to bang it out. There are still some details, editing, etc…that need to be done, but for today I am stepping away.
If you know me, you’ll know that stepping away from a project that isn’t complete is not something I do easily. However, my brain is fried and I need a fresh perspective. Tomorrow is a new day!
Starting next week, I have 2 finals per week for the entire month of January, a semester project due, and comprehensive exams to pass, in order for me to go forward into my 3rd year of acupuncture school. Between classes, studying, working, and the holidays, I have been pretty overwhelmed.
The pressure is on, but if there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s that sometimes you need a break! This goes for everything, working out included.
To de-stress, I’ve made myself a cup of peppermint tea, done some yoga, and taken a hot shower.
